The University Medical Center Groningen has been selected to host the ERN RARE-LIVER ACADEMY 2026, featuring a paediatric focus.
We are excited to invite applications for the ERN RARE-LIVER ACADEMY 2026, focusing on Paediatric Liver Diseases & Transplantation. This two-day workshop hosted by University Medical Centre Groningen (UMCG) and will bring together 20 young hepatologists, surgeons and fellows to engage with leading experts in the field covering the topics of basic and surgical science in paediatric hepatology.

- Session 2a – Paediatric Hepatology (Parallel Session)

- Interactive Case Session – 4 Case Presentations & Group Discussions

Day 2 – Thursday
- Session 5 – Complications in Paediatric Liver Transplantation
- Session 6 – European Insights & Collaborative Tools
- Debate Session: Living vs Post-Mortem Donation
- Final Session: – The right graft for the right recipient
Accreditation
An application will be submitted to the EACCME® for CME accreditation of this masterclass.

Eligibility
The Academy is open to early-career hepatologists, surgeons and fellows with an interest in paediatric rare liver diseases.
