Morbus Wilson e.V. Patient-Doctor-Symposium (German Language)
This year, the focus will be on Wilson disease in children and adolescents. In addition, current general topics will be addressed, including the results of psychological studies under the title: ‘What the brain reveals about Wilson’s disease – new findings from research’. Wiebke Papenthin, Lead of one of the ERN RARE-LIVER ePAGs, will also be attending the symposium.
Childcare will be provided so that parents have the opportunity to attend the presentations undisturbed and engage in intensive dialogue with other members. We have also learnt from last year’s experience that it is important for children with Wilson disease to get to know each other and talk about their disease together. For better planning, we ask that children/young people also register their age on the registration form.
Following the symposium, a social gathering is planned for 6 p.m. at Firebowl Heidelberg. In addition to fun and a relaxing end to the symposium, the gathering will also provide time for members to exchange ideas. Please take advantage of this offer – after registering in advance, the association cordially invites you to go bowling at Firebowl. A small selection of food will be available on site, which can be ordered individually at your own expense.
