Mood disorders in polycystic liver disease

Background/aims:
Previous studies demonstrated that polycystic liver disease (PLD) affects quality of life and specifically the mental component. This study aims to further investigate this by determining whether PLD is associated with anxiety or depression and if PLD disease severity affects this association.

PROMS:
1. Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7)
2. Patient Health Questionnaire 8 (PHQ-8)
3. Productivity Cost Questionnaire (PCQ)
4. Polycystic Liver Disease Questionnaire (PLD-Q)
5. Polycystic Liver Disease Complaint-specific Assessment (POLCA)
6. Short Form 36 (SF-36)
7. Modified Fatigue Impact Scale (MFIS)

Target population:
Polycystic liver disease patients both in the context of ADPLD and ADPKD. Approximately 1000 patients will be receive the questionnaires in this cross-sectional study.

Inclusion and exclusion criteria:
Inclusion criteria: ≥18 years, all genders, polycystic liver disease
