Members' Meeting 2023

This year the prominent topic will be patient empowerment, introducing the first cross ERN Youth Panel. There will also be CPMS Case presentations as well as group meetings and presentations from our Disease Working Groups.

Due to the high number of participants, we have accommodated our members in two different hotels: Dorint Hotel Eppendorf and the niu Bricks. An individual email from our office team will let you know, what location is booked for you.

Reimbursement of travel expenses

Travel expenses can be reimbursed by ERN RARE-LIVER for:
- One representative per ERN Full Member or Affiliated Partner centre. One additional person per centre is welcome to join at their own travel expense. If you are unsure about your centre’s status, please contact us.
- Four patient representatives
- Invited speakers and working group leads not included above
- Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse the expenses for Collaborative Partners or External Experts who are not a working group lead or an invited speaker.

Please note that most likely under the new grant, we have to calculate in unit costs. That means we can cover travel costs (e.g. flight, train, etc.) according to the EU unit costs decision for travel. Eligible travel costs rest on the distance to the place of departure and the place of arrival in Hamburg.

You can hand in your travel expenses after the meeting untill 11 September 2023. Please make sure to save all original copies of proof of payment for costs that you would like to claim.

Additionally, the 5th International Conference on Paediatric Liver Disease (CPLD), will take place directly before the ERN Members’ Meeting from 31 August to 1 September 2023.
