International Workshop on Future Therapies in Autoimmune Hepatitis, 1-2 June in Hamburg

The workshop will be attended by a diverse group of international experts in the field, including clinicians, scientists, and medical statisticians.
The conjoined expertise of international experts will bring together a broad range of skills necessary to develop new treatment strategies for AIH. It will enable participants to share knowledge, collaborate, and ultimately improve the lives of patients with autoimmune hepatitis.
AIH as a rare liver disease is a growing clinical concern with rising prevalence and limited therapeutic evidence. While current treatment regimens are effective for many patients, there is still a need for new therapeutic approaches with fewer side effects than classical steroid-based treatment.
A central element of the workshop will be a session on the conceptual design of a multicenter randomized controlled trial in autoimmune hepatitis. This trial will be a collaborative effort between experts from around the world and will aim to improve our understanding of the disease and develop new treatment options.
Registration for the workshop is now open, and representatives from around the world are encouraged to attend.
