On 10 September 2025, the second session of the ERN RARE-LIVER CPMS 2.0 Live Case Discussion series took place via Zoom, drawing the attention of more than 50 participants and CPMS users from across Europe. The focus of the session was a vascular liver disease case entitled “Acute PVT – Recanalisation or Not?”.

The case, previously uploaded on CPMS 2.0, was presented and analysed by distinguished experts Aurélie Plessier (Hôpital Beaujon, Paris) and Juan Carlos García-Pagán (Hospital Clínic, Barcelona). They provided valuable insights into the complex clinical considerations surrounding the management of acute portal vein thrombosis, sparking an engaging exchange of views.

Participants contributed a wealth of subject-specific questions, which were seamlessly integrated into the discussion, making the session highly interactive and practice-oriented. Moderation was skilfully led by Valeria Pérez-Campuzano and Salvatore Fasano (Hôpital Beaujon, Paris), representing the ERN RARE-LIVER CPMS Helpdesk.

The session once again demonstrated the value of CPMS 2.0 as a platform for collaborative learning and expert dialogue. For further queries or support, the ERN RARE-LIVER Helpdesk remains at your disposal.
