We had the last WG meeting within ESPGHAN Wednesday with a fully occupied room. We will have a new structure with ESPGHAN in the future, and this was discussed at the meeting. We also discussed ongoing projects with paediatric interest (Databases for biliary atresia and acute liver failure, common ERN plasma exchange protocol in collaboration with transplant child and ESPNIC, ongoing ALF survey and results from surveys done the last year) and possible new projects (position papers). An 5 minutes overview were presented at the HEP SIG meeting during the afternoon.
During the congress 3 scientific projects were presented: The transition survey, the first results from the ERN Castor database and the proposal for the common plasma exchange protocol.
