To meet the increasing demand of onsite training for young fellows in the field of rare diseases, ERN RARE-LIVER was pleased to announce the first ERN RARE-LIVER EASL ACADEMY in Barcelona. This academy, organised by members of the ERN RARE-LIVER, aims to deliver up-to-date knowledge on rare liver diseases to junior clinicians. It was set up for twenty young fellows and offered a great opportunity for interaction, networking and discussion with experts from all over Europe. Participants were selected by the coordination team and the workshop organisers.

The Academy took place from 27-28 April 2023 at the Hospital Clínic. Barcelona, Spain and was organised by Juan Carlos García-Pagán and Maria Londoño
The EASL representative in attendance was Virginia Hernández-Gea.
