Centre information
Hannover Medical School (MHH), founded in 1965, is the only exclusively medical university in Germany. Its integration model, featuring patient care, research and teaching under one umbrella, has enabled MHH to occupy a leading place in the top-ranking group of German university clinics and to develop into a leading health campus. The MHH is strong in transplantation and stem cell research, regenerative medicine, infection and immune research as well as public health and healthcare systems research. Recently the MHH was listed at the Newsweek`s WORLD’S BEST HOSPITALS – TOP 100 GLOBAL. The MHH Liver Unit covers management of all aspects of liver disease and liver transplantation in pediatric and adult patients, bridged by a transition program.
