Centre information

The CHL (Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg) is a public hospital located in the city of Luxembourg, strongly committed to high quality evidence-based medicine. Additionally, our hospital has academic purposes as well as research activities. Our Hepato-Gastroenterology unit offers specialized treatment in multiple GI and liver diseases. Our medical team offers diagnostics and follow-up for acute and chronic liver pathologies performing ultrasound, contrast-enhanced ultrasound, liver biopsy, and Fibroscan. Our unit carries out scientific cooperation with the Hepatology and Liver Transplant Clinics of Liege, ULB and UCL from Belgium as well with CHU Strasbourg in France.

This centre is a National Coordination Hub which links the national healthcare system to a number or all European Reference Networks.
