Centre information

The Medical University of Vienna is one of the largest medical training hospitals worldwide. The associated Vienna General Hospital hosts 26 university clinics, two clinical institutes and numerous highly specialized laboratories in addition to being embedded in cutting-edge research institutes in the area of biomedicine. The RALID (Rare Liver Disease) Center at the Vienna General Hospital is an affiliated center of the ERN RARE-LIVER and has particular expertise in the management of patients with vascular liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, cholestatic liver disease, liver tumors, hereditary liver diseases and unknown liver diseases.
