Helsinki University Hospital is the leading center of liver diseases in Finland. Specialists in different fields take care of diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up of rare liver diseases such as
autoimmune liver diseases, polycystic liver diseases, vascular liver diseases, neonatal cholestatic disorders including biliary atresia, metabolic liver diseases and genetic liver diseases. Our hospital is the only center for liver transplantations in Finland. We also provide advanced modalities for radiological diagnostics and treatment and pathological diagnostics in the field of hepatology.
