The Clinical Gastroenterology Department at Careggi is a reference center for autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, celiac disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. The Hepatology Clinic specialises in the management of liver transplant patients, both pre- and post-transplant, as well as patients with autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, Wilson’s disease, and other rare hepatic conditions.
