Ghent University Hospital is one of the largest and most specialised hospitals in Flanders. Ghent University Hospital is a quaternary referral center for pediatric and adult liver diseases and a liver transplantation center for children and adults. The center provides highly specialised care for liver patients in a multidisciplinary setting involving adult and pediatric hepatologists, hepatobiliary and liver transplant surgeons, (interventional) radiologists, endoscopists, oncologists,… A liver transition clinic is run by a pediatric and adult hepatologist.
